It is our belief at Hard Winter Bakery that when you combine the right knowledge, natural ingredients, and lots of hard work, great things will happen. That’s what we strive for.
Our rustic sourdough breads and pastries are all freshly prepared and baked in our retail and production facility in the East City neighbourhood of Peterborough. We look forward to meeting you and bringing you and your family years of good eating.
Meet the Bakers
Jess & Graham are long time partners in life and business. Having met in university in Halifax, they have travelled the world and lived all over this beautiful country. In 2014 they returned to Ontario and the Kawarthas region with the goal of opening up a sourdough bakery. The bakery and their family has grown over the last ten years in many ways! They feel so lucky to be able to live and work in one of the best communities in Ontario.
